So last month, on the 20 July, I attended the Nylon x Tangs Summer party with one of my good friends !
Upon going in, we were given this sticker (to help indicate that we are here for the party) and an envelope of vouchers for us to use!
The vouchers we were given are:
- Headline 20% off (Expire: 20Aug) (min $100)
- Tangs Play lab 15% off (Expire: 31 July)
- $30 Mens voucher (Expired: 31 July) ($200 min)
- $10 Tangs Estore (first purchase) [estore.tangs.com]
- 2 $10 women voucher (Used!) (Will show what I’ve bought at the later part of this post)
Apart from these vouchers, there’s a ticket for us to redeem the goodie bag!

Moving on~
Basically, the day’s activity goes out like this!
We explored the nicely decorated Tangs before heading back up to watch the Fashion Styling workshop by Nylon Singapore’s editor!
There’s limited seats in the audience so we are left standing to watch the show. Basically, there are 2 categories in this show, The part where the editor give style tips and the other part where this makeup guru (forgotten his name) give makeup tips. Throughout the show the volunteers and random people gets prizes from Ice watch to NARS makeup Platte.
After the short workshop is done, we head over to the nearby booths which is FILLED with a long line of people:

The Complimentary Express Manicure booth! Since it takes like about 5 - 10 minutes per person, and there’s only 1 manicurist per person, I decided to try the makeup booth (2 stations) while my friend keep my place in line.
So while I was queuing for the makeup station, I caught this at the side!:
The ice cream booth!!! They have flavors like Mango Coconut, Pure coconut, Banana Dark Chocolate, Lychee Beet, Lychee Beet, and Pineapple. I didn’t get one for I felt $5 for a Popsicle is a little to ex. Plus the word Coconut have already made me go BLEH (I might have gotten food poisoning because of coconut before)
OK continuing the queuing story. After awhile, it’s my turn! and lucky me was madeup by the makeup guru from the fashion workshop above! Anyways, here’s the results of his expertise!:
Didn’t really put much coverage that day (Picture taken after the manicure) [Why is my hair in a mess?!]
He decided to put more emphasis on my eyes and so the slight winged liner!
After the makeover, I went back in line with my friend and after 1-2 hours of queuing it’s finally our turn! [We missed the fashion show because of this. It’s OK cause we went to the Elle Fashion runway before so we know like how it works]
We both chose bright orange! [for we can’t really paint this color when we step out in the society so why not now?]
Anyways, after we got our complimentary bright orange express manicure done, we went to redeem out goodie bag!
