Hey There,

I had been looking forward to this #Sotonmeetup since May, organised by my blogger babes Amy and Alice.

The location was Orange Rooms Southampton again, but why would we go anywhere else, when the food is good and the cocktails are even better? A Pornstar Martini for me please. It was such a fun day, (As expected), I got to catch up with some of the girls from the May meet up, and meet some new ones, discuss blogging, fashion, beauty and chat to some brands.

I love meeting new brands, so the first stop point for me had to be with Beegood Skincare. I hadn’t heard of the brand before the meet up, but the idea behind their products, and the fact that they are so local to me, (Based in Hampshire near Hook) they had my attention straight away. The owner started up the business, after finding himself having lots of extra honey on his hands, (Being a bee/honey farmer), and I think it may have been his wife, (If I can remember correctly), which suggested the idea of putting it into skincare. Honey has such great benefits to our skin, and I just love that it is all produced so locally to me, and so naturally. I also heard that their cleanser is meant to be just as good as the Liz Earle cleanse and polish, (Although I need to try both to confirm this). At the moment they are being sold in Waitrose, and Urban Outfitters, I have their lip balm to try, but I hope to pick up one of the cleansers soon.

Lush Cosmetics were also at this event, but this time I managed to sit down and be treated to an arm massage, (Never turn down a free massage). It was amazing, and was finished off with ‘First Snow’ dusting powder. As soon as I saw that glitter I had to pick one up, leaving of course with a few other Lush goodies, (Keep an eye out for a Lush Haul post).

Unfortunately I didn’t get around to the Weleda table, as there was about 30 of us there, and by that time I had sat down and started nattering away to everyone. I did however get some Weleda products in my goody bag, which I am really excited about trying. I have known this brand for years, but in the past couple of years not really heard or seen much about them, so it is good to see a brand I recognize come back, and hopefully their skincare is as good as I think it will be.

As always the girls went all out at the event, (I honestly don’t know how they do it) and managed to kit our goody bags out with some fabulous products. Including a Cocoa Brown Tan, Make Up Revolution Palette, Playboy lipstick, (Didn’t even know Playboy were still around), Jurlique oils, and many more. Expect to see some posts on these beauties, of course it may be the New Year now, as lets face it December is going to be Christmas mad, and I’ve signed up to do #Thebigblogmasproject2014

Let me know which products/brands you would like to hear about first/more on, and I will try do them as soon as I can.

Lots of Love,

KBxx
