it’s been awhile since my last sort-of nail art post. Recently I got several Born Pretty Store items to review and these Metallic square and round studs* have caught my attention. They retail for $5.15.
The studs come in a small round box. The packaging doesn’t state the amount of studs, but there’s enough for a lot of manicures. If you are careful with how you apply them and remove, you can use one stud several times. You get six different colours of round (2mm) and six different colours of square (3mm) studs. The square studs sit well on the nail – I was worried that the corners would stick out, but they stuck to the nail.
The studs have metallic finish and come in green, blue, mint, purple, pink and gold color.
For the manicure I put two coats of Catrice’s Am I Blue or Green. Then I applied a line in the middle of the nail with Guerlain Star Dust. In the end I placed a stud on the bottom of the nail and sealed everything with Seche Vite.
