Northern Blogger Event

Some of you have already expressed an interest, but for anyone who doesn't yet know about it, Katie from Lady from a Tramp and I are attempting to organise a Bloggers Event for us Northerners, who can't make it down to the events that are held in London.
So far, the details are:
Place: Leeds

Date: Saturday 13th August

So far, that's as far as the plans have gone, but I'm now looking into how many more people would be interested, and what kind of event you'd be interested in.
Would you prefer a daytime meet up, with lunch and shopping perhaps?
Or maybe you fancy a night-time meet up, with drinks and a stop over?
Also, would people prefer the event to be bloggers only, or would you prefer to bring a friend?
