So tomorrow is the day we all get glammed up and head out, (Or in) to party and celebrate the end of 2013. I find one of the hardest parts to New Years Eve, is not deciding on a venue, but actually what you are going to wear, (Your face, hair, and outfit of the night), and personally I like to go all out.
This year I have opted out of a crazy, all nighter, in Bristol, to go for a romantic meal with the Boyfriend, so my outfit this year will be a lot tamer than my usual NYE choice, however I can still do my make up as OTT as I want!!
Here is my New Years Eve inspired Smokey eyes look:
This was actually a look I used for a friends birthday night out, (Before Christmas), and I had SO many compliments on it, that I will be wearing it again for NYE. To get this look I used Dior and Lancome eye shadows.
I used the Lancome palette to start with, covering the upper eye lid with the white, and defining the crease line, and eye line with the darker colours. Following on from this I used the two Dior shadows to bring more dramatic shading and colouring to the eye area, finishing the look of with Eyelure False Lashes number 140, and some liquid and Kohl liner in black.
