New Year... New Woes?

By Clickyourheels @redrubyheels
Not really. I am being somewhat melodramatic... Do you ever have those days when you just want to overhaul everything about yourself? It might be your appearance, your career, family/personal life or your fitness. I am having one of those moments today.

New Year... New Woes?

Bye Sydney!

The New Year brings for me a great deal of change... moving interstate and leaving loved ones and beginning my career as a new graduate. All of this change is very exciting but also very daunting.
Beginning full-time work this year after 4 years of study is going to be tough. It's my chance to put all my hard work to good use with a bonus of being paid to do what I love. I am nervous about the responsibility my role will bring but excited to have that responsibility at the same time. I am lucky my career path is varied and allows me to work how I want to work. I know many people would give their right arm to have that freedom in the workplace. I will do my best to make the most of it.

New Year... New Woes?

Ho Hum

In the last few weeks I have given my health and fitness a kick-start- I've always eaten relatively well and participated in exercise but I was feeling like I had let this side of me go in the last few months. I now have a set of weight-loss goals and eating plan. I feel empowered to keep going with it.
Lastly I have been itching to change up my appearance- I feel like I am entering a new stage in my life and I want a new look to go with. I always stick to same old hairstyles and rarely deviate too much from my natural color. I feel like my current image does not reflect how I am feeling on the inside. Do you ever feel this way? Sometimes I see someone and they just look so happy and confident in their skin- I wish I could also have this confidence.
Here are some looks I really admire. I look at images to give me inspiration- I feel like I would be an awesome contender for "How Do I Look?" (for anyone that watches the Style Network). I need a style over-haul!

For anyone who has read this to the end. Thank you. Sometimes you just need to get off your chest things that are concerning you and sometimes it's easier to talk to complete strangers than friends and family. Have you ever been through and identity crisis? I'd love to read your comments below.
