Central Florida indie rock band Glass House Point are riding their momentum in their new single “Polaris,” which dropped September 15. The band’s sound is centered around a 4-piece lineup backed by crisp harmonies, synths, and string ensembles. Overall the sound is sophisticated, yet untamed — a quite beautiful contradiction. The single takes many unexpected twists and turns, showcasing a bold dynamic. Followed by their August single “Creatures,” “Polaris” continues the journey to their upcoming fall EP, due out in October. Glass House Point also dives into a new sound with “Polaris,” which is representative of their new work. About their new music, the band states:
“Over the past year, we’ve been working really hard to settle into a new sound. I think that touring and meeting new people has really attributed to us finding our new direction.”
“Polaris” is available now! Check out the track below and let us know what you think.
