My experience with the product
Maybelline Total Clean Express Makeup Remover comes in a sleek transparent plastic bottle with white screw on cap. It has a small opening which lets out the makeup remover. I liked the packaging in terms of - travel and packaging, that's very fuss-free and convenient to use.The Maybelline Makeup Remover is a bi-phasic (a combination of oil and water) makeup remover. You need to shake the bottle before use to mix up the layers of oil and water. The consistency is runny and water based and you would need a very little product for a single use.Generally I dampen my cotton ball with the makeup remover and generally dab it over my kajal and eyes for 5-10 secs and allow the makeup to come off with easy instead of rubbing. The eye shadow, liner and kajal comes out in a single swipe but you'll need 2-3 swipes to completely remove the mascara and kajal. I have used removing the kajal from my waterline, but it does not sting my eyes. This removes the long staying lipsticks and lip stains in a single swipe and waterproof products like - the concealer, kohl, etc in 2-3 swipes. Despite being watery, it does leaves a oily residue and I need to wash my face again. If you're looking for a reasonable priced makeup remover that does its job quite well and removes makeup in a single swipe or two without irritating sensitive skin, then go for it!Rating : 4.5/5
