Hey everyone!L'Oreal Paris recently launched two new products ~ Shine Caresse and Rouge Caresse lip-colors. I showed you in my last post that I bought 2 lipsticks from the Rouge Caresse range (shown here). Today I'm reviewing a pale coral shade from this range ~ (301) Dating Coral.

Packaging : The Rouge Caresse lipsticks comes in a silver tube with colored label at the bottom and on the cap. The packaging is similar to the Infallible lipsticks (reviewed here). i don't find the packaging very attractive, infact it seems bulky. The colored label on the cap makes it very easy to locate if you own more than a single shade.Texture : The texture of this lipstick is somewhat similar to Revlon Colorburst Lip Butters, sheer and balm-y texture. It applies sheer in a single swipe and you can build the color by swiping it 3-4 times. Somehow, it doesn't delivers an opaque coverage. The finish is glossy and translucent. This feels absolutely light on lips. This feels hydrating and moisturising on lips and makes it luscious. It delivers a wet looking glossy feel because its very creamy. The color doesn't stain the lips nor accentuate the fine lines. It does not get patchy or dry on lips. Staying Power : This stays on my lips for good 5+ hours apart from being glossy. After a light meal, you see the color fully wiped off your lips.(301) Dating Coral : is a pale coral shade. This shade washes out my face completely. It has silver shimmers in it which gives it its cool tone. Its a great color for fair to medium complexions, although you would have to apply a sheer peach lips gloss on top of it to make the color pop.

L'Oreal Paris Rouge Caresse 'Dating Coral' topped with Shine Caresse 'Venus' looks very natural. Venus adds the warmth and right amount of shade to make your lips pop this summer.Rating : 4.9/5 (-.1 for sheer pigmentation, its just a personal interest, because I like opaque pigmentation the most)
