Hi Metalheads! It’s a pleasure for me to introduce in MetalWind an amazing Power Metal band from Perú which has released a fantastic debut album. I’m talking about Nautiluz, I recommed you don’t miss these guys, I think they have a very good sound.
Nautiluz is a Power Metal band which was founded in 2009 by Alvaro Paredes (Drums), Renzo Huánuco (Keyboards) and Diego Chacaliaza (Guitar). They released in 2010 a fantastic EP entitled “Chasing the Light” and they are the first Peruvian band included on “Rock Band” videogame for PlayStation and Xbox.
“Chasing the Light” EP is a great Power Metal release which contains three powerful tracks with a fantastic sound and a very good production. “Beyond The Universe” is an amazing instrumental song that shows us the high quality of these musicians and the perfect Power Metal that they play. The second track on the EP called “Chasing the Light” maintains a high level with a nice fast sound, amazing vocals and really a great melody, pure Power Metal, oh yeaah!
The final song on “Chasing the Light” EP not disappoint the fans of Stratovarius and all Power Metal lovers, this track is an impressive and perfect Stratovarius cover, the fantastic Power Metal hymn “Black Diamond”, I think it’s really a great cover, powerful and intense, oh I think it’s perfect… simply I love it! In 2013 these guys sign with an international label called “Total Steel Records” and they release a great debut album entitled “Leaving all Behind”. In my opinion this is without a doubt one of the best Power Metal albums of the year.
It is not surprising that in a very short time “Leaving all Behind” album was released in Japan with a great success. This Japanese edition contains two exclusive bonus tracks and is distributed by Universal Music Japan.
The album is full of catchy melodies, some orchestral arrangements, fantastic keboards and amazing guitars, not forgetting the great work of Sebastián Flores on vocals, it’s fantastic!
Songs like the powerful “Under The Moonlight”, “The Mirror” or the demolisher “Leaving all Behind” are amazing tracks highly recommended to all Power Metal fans, I think these songs will be converted into powerful metal hymns. You pay attention to “Eden’s Lair”, a nice track with a great collaboration of Ana Lucía Teves on vocals, really a nice female voice. And I especially like and recommend the fantastic “Burning Hearts”, you can watch a video by clicking the following link.
