Being a Beauty Therapist, I know the importance of exfoliating the skin. Not only does it remove dead skin cells, making the skin look less dull, it also increases skin cell turn over (encouraging skin to heal quicker and look better).
It is so hard to find an exfoliator that isn't super hard, scratchy, and too rough on the skin that actually does a good job. This scrub however is the exception to this. I can honestly say that having used the NAT. FACE Rebalance Treatment Scrub many times now; I know I have found a product that definitely scrubs up well.
A little tip: You CAN over exfoliate. Aim to exfoliate once or twice a week as not to damage the skin and make it sensitive.
What NAT. say:
Rebalance treatment scrub 100g to exfoliate and treat combination to oily skin. Contains rice bran to gently exfoliate dead skin cells revealing a brighter, more refined complexion. The addition of 100% natural tea tree essences provides antibacterial, antiviral and anti fungal properties making this scrub ideal for combination, oily and problematic skin types.
What I say:
I must say I feel in love with the NAT. FACE Rebalance Treatment Scrub as soon as I first used it. It is creamy with little exfoliation beads compared to other products I have used. At first I was doubtful it would do much as the solution is not very scrubby on the skin, but the results blew my mind (as did the fresh tea-tree scent of the product). When I jumped out of the shower and pat my face dry I then ran my hands over my face, only to discover that it was as smooth as a babies butt!
I cannot fault this product. I love that:
- The tube is easy to squeeze.
- It smells amazing.
- It's Australian made.
- It assists in rebalancing combination skin.
- It's gentle.
- The results are amazing (skin is smoother and brighter).
