I was invited for complimentary meal for two at Nando's for their Espetada Carnival Experience.This was my first visit to Nando's as i rarely visit Vasant Kunj.The place is very spacious and was overflowing with customers when we reached.
Hung flame – grilled Peri Peri chicken stuffed with garlic, parsley and feta, skewered with mixed peppers and served with a side of butternut squash and grilled corn, Peri – Chips and Mango sangria.
The butter squash and corn side dish was an absolute fav of mine.It adds some freshness to the heavy chicken flavor.The french fries were really crispy but i wish it was saltier.I am a self confessed salt addict lol (i have low blood pressure and salt helps me maintain at normal pressure)
The grilled peri peri chicken is divided into 4 different levels of flavors-Lemon Herb,mild spicey,moderate,strong and so on.We ordered lemon herb and mild spicey.I prefered lemon herb over the mild spicey.The chicken is tender and moist (lemon herb>mild spicey)It is a complete meal and very filling.The whole meal will cost you Rs.580 (exclusive of vat,service charge and other applicable taxes.)
They also have a bar.
