Nail Of The Week- "Bronze" by Cos Bar @ Target

By Stephanie1 @NewBeautyReview
While in Target a few weeks ago, I was walking to the back of the store and on display in the center isle I noticed a new brand of products called Cos Bar. Cos Bar is actually a website where you can shop for different name brands but they recently designed a line of products for Target. They carry nail polish, body scrub, nail files, tweezers, makeup remover wipes, body butter, lotion, soaps, cosmetic bags, loofahs, face masks & foot scrub.Everything is covered in leopard print, which I can take or leave, but I was drawn to the look of the display because everything is black with bright colors (purple, bronze, lime green, blue)
Anyway, I picked up this polish for just $3. I wasn't crazy about the green and I have too many purples so I went with this bronze color because I don't have anything like it. It's not something I'd pick right away so I wanted something different.
It's really a beautiful color & I have a few eye shadows & pigments like it but no nails.
I did something different with this polish. I applied 2 coats and a top coat. I usually leave the top coat for after I take a pic of it because I like to show how shiny the polish is. I very well could've done that with this here but forgot & painted on the top coat...I was watching a movie & got distracted! Lol!
The point in all of this is to say I couldn't believe how chipped my nails were after just a few hours! The irony is I used a top coat right away and they chipped anyway!! They dried beautifully and I was well prepared for at least a week long mani but after a few hours and a shower, they chipped. Not even a little but a lot! I woke up with only 3 nails in tact. I have never had that happen to me before. No smudges, just chips. I have to say I'm still curious to try some of the soaps and lotions even though this was not the best experience.
I was disappointed because it looked so good going on. I can't even say "that's what you get for $3" because the Sally Girl nail polishes are $0.88 & they last for way longer with no chips.
Also, e.l.f cosmetics makes one of my favorite liquid eye liners and it's just $1...C'est la vie!
Nail Of The Week-
Keep it pretty! *Stephanie*
