Happy Monday to you all, I can not tell you how glad I am that the working day is over, and I can now chill at home, and do what I love to do, and that is blog and drink tea.
So about a week or so ago, I was introduced to the worlds first beauty comparison website, called mybeautycompare.com. A site which helps us get our beauty products at the best price, (Need I say more…Or shall I just give you the link now?).
Now I think it is safe to say, that we all love a bargain, and we all want a good deal, this new website allows us just that, but with out the effort of shopping around ourselves, (Perfect…right?).
And it doesn’t stop there…. Mybeautycompare also offers a more personalised service, a virtual personal shopper (Who wouldn’t want that), finding and recommending you products based on your preferences, skin and hair type, as well as lifestyle. When you register with mybeautycompare, you fill in a questionnaire, answering several personal questions, for example, are you a smoker? What is your skin type? What is your main skin concern? And so on. This gives them an idea of what products would suit you.
Here’s my answers to the personalised quiz…
Now I must admit, I was tempted to select most skin and hair concern tabs, but I limited myself, as otherwise I would just need every beauty product going. Although I have a massive fear of ageing, I opted for dull skin, uneven tone and comedones, (Spots).
I have fair, sensitive and combination skin, hazel eyes, I am a non smoker, with long, straight, blonde hair. I have lots of hair, but it is very fine, so I opted for the normal hair tab, my main hair concern is color protection and damage control, (From years of bleaching and trying to style it). I try and drink a liter of water a day, I eat a high protein diet, get at least 6 hours sleep a night, work full time and live in a cold, (And very wet), climate.

The website also has it’s own chat forum, a product review section, a blog, and video tutorials…They have a great video on applying lashes, and leopard print nail art. Any lover of hair and beauty could spend quite sometime on this site.
Considering it is a new website, it has a lot going for it already, I can just see it becoming more and more popular, as people become introduced to it.
The site has several hair and beauty experts, (So you know your in good hands), they all have varied skill sets, make up artists, bloggers, botanical consultants, tanning gurus, and beauty coaches. I actually follow Antonia Mariconda, the Cosmedic Coach, on twitter, I listen to everything she says, her tips are great, so the fact that she is an expert at mybeautycompare, straight away puts my trust in the site.
