for my nail of the day i have brought my first ever models own nail varnish and im excited to show you and tell you how i got on with it.
i brought the purple blue colour from the beetlejuice collection, i brought this from a big boots store and it was £5, although i got it in the boots 3 for 2 offer they are currently doing. i was disappointed that it doesn't have a cool quirky name, they've made a whole collection dedicated to beetlejuice so why could they not think of a nicer name then purple blue =[ (oh well)
this is what it looked like with just 1 coat. OH MY GOD, i have never had a nail polish that is so runny, at first i thought it was because i hadn't shaken it properly but i shook and shook it but no, it didn't work, it is soo runny it ended up looking like this on my first application, i did 3 coats in the end because i wanted it to look perfect.
but omgawd, the 3 coats are worth it, the colour is beautiful, i love it sooo much. the models own nail varnish has a bass of a deep purple and has purple and blue and grey coloured glitter and shimmers in it, so that when you put it to the light it turns purple and when its out of the light it look like a bluey grey colour its beautiful.
its so glossy and shiny, and ive had loads of questions about it, which mean other people find it amazing too :D hehe my only downside is the name of it and the consistency
i would love to try some more model own nail varnishes though, have you go any suggestions? see you soon xx
