For green souls like me who re-energise through smelling sea salt in the water and feeling sands in between my toes, I'm constantly on the hunt for fuss-free ways to bring a dash of nature into my space at home. Come meet my baby succulent terrariums, my fellow green souls! They're simply perfect for adding some interesting shades of green to your interior, especially for those who lack the time and energy to care for a garden. These succulent terrariums are super low maintenance, which totally suit my globe-trotting lifestyle. They can thrive on their own even if you leave them unattended for a week or so - genius, right?
Here're some tips I gathered on caring for these succulent terrariums: 
The best of part of it? These cute-as-a-button terrariums can make an easy DIY project! In fact, these are the cutest handmade gift from my husband for my birthday this year - ain't I a lucky lady?
I'd love to document a step-by-step guide on how to make a terrarium for you, but this sweetest man of mine has actually built them while I was asleep as a surprise present so I missed the DIY actions. He told me it took around 2 hours to make his first one, which is the monkey pyramid with the jade plant. The other two succulent terrariums housed in the apple shaped glass containers were slightly smaller and faster to make. The baby succulents were bought from a nursery while he used a tiny seed from the large jade plant we have in our front yard for the glass pyramid. We kind of feel like proud new parents at the moment and can't wait to see our little green babies flourish and grow!
♥ Keep them at a spot with lots of natural light but away from direct sunlight. Direct sunlight will fry and burn these baby plants.
♥ Only water once a week. Succulent plants tend to store water very well which explains why they look fleshy or swollen.
♥ Try your best to water around the base of the plant but not directly on top of them.
♥ Remove dead or dry foliage immediately to avoid any bacterial activities.
♥ If your terrarium is enclosed, make sure you remove the lid and let it breathe at least once a week.
♥ Always use rainwater or demineralised water for your terrariums.
