I did it. Well almost.... I made it halfway through uncluttering my life in one week. I re-organized my wardrobe, office, kitchen and bathroom and it feels amazing. I highly recommend the book
Unclutter Your Life in One Week by Erin Doland. I don't recommend doing it in one week though unless you call in sick for 5 days. I am still working on my living spaces, productivity and home offices but I hope that this inspires you to do some spring cleaning.
My office was the first thing I tackled after reading this quote from the book, "Your office sends messages about what kind of a worker you are. Having a chronically disorganized office screams, "I am an ineffective worker!" This may not seem like such a big deal, but these perceptions can end up having a negative impact on your career. Gulp...Now check out my new and improved office!!
BEFORE: Way too many papers to organize, shred, recycle and file. You need me to find what paper? Fat chance! It's lost....
AFTER:A place for everything and everything in its place.
My office mate moved out of the office but left her
crap belongings all over this bookcase. I trashed it all and brought in my favorite business books to display. Love it! But, it's a little bare...any ideas for my bookcase?
And one of my favorite suggestions from the book
Unclutter Your Life in One Week, a checklist to reference before you leave the office everyday.
Next week you can see my new and improved closet!! I will spare you from my bathroom photos though...even though I am extremely proud of my toilet paper organization! :)
Have a great weekend everyone!!
