When I first moved to L.A from Ohio, I was highly unaware of all of the amazing restaurants, and lounges to eat at around the area.
I mainly stuck to ‘local’ places around the Hollywood area, since that is where I lived at the time.
Now being an L.A native, for at least 5 years, i’ve had plenty of time to explore the city, and open up to new food places that I have never tried before. I have to be quite honest as well, that for me, it’s always a ‘push’ to get me to try new places.
This past week, I tried out Lyfe Kitchen.
The funny thing is, I would always walk past Lyfe Kitchen to go to Starbucks, and I would always want to stop in to check out their menu, but I never did, I would walk right past it.
On Thursday, I put my nerves away, and walked into Lyfe Kitchen to check out their menu.
I ended up ordering the “Quinoa Bowl”, which was filled with fresh veggies, Quinoa, and Hummus. I also ordered their “Cucumber Lemon Lyfe Water”, which was AMAZING.
The atmosphere was very fresh, and organic. Personally for me, a GREAT lunch spot.
I went to the one on Ventura Blvd, but there are a ton of other locations that may be closer to you.
If you’re looking to try out a new healthy lunch spot, Lyfe Kitchen is it.
