Yes, the title of this post is in reference to 50 cent, and I am not sorry about it. I thought it was actually pretty witty of myself. Anywhooo, I am sorry… I often get sidetracked. Saturday, even though facing an icky hangover, I dragged myself off the couch for my beauty date with my BFF. We were invited to check out a brand new mini-salon in the area, Leu Leu Beauty Bar to be exact, and what a niceee little mid-weekend treat it was!
I have to admit, I often don’t treat myself to any of these “fancier” luxuries. The reason because, I like to save every penny I have to shop. I can paint my own nails and do my own hair, but I can’t make majority the clothes I covet. Although I have tried… sometimes it works, often times it doesn’t.
This day was so needed, so very relaxing, and so appreciated! I literally got the best pedicure ever. I loved that they used eco-friendly products, referred to their bath fizzy’s as “Ice Cream”, and the fact that the nail technician was super creative. She had fun with her mani/pedis and didn’t look at you weird when you mentioned adding a glitter gradient or an accent nail (as they often do for some reason). All in all, great experience, adorable salon, great idea, and we even scored a great goody bag complete with our own ice cream fizzies, an ice cream pumice stone, and an adorable nail file with little hearts all over it. I am a sucker for all that kind of stuff.

+ I already knew I loved the place when I walked in to find sweet treats awaiting our arrival. Plus they had spa water, which is maybe my favorite beverage ever… it was a great aid for my hangover.
+ The pedi station was the definition of perfection & comfort. I definitly had a bit of a nap while getting my (surprisingly long) foot/leg massage.
+ Mmmm… lately I have been obsessing over cute nail polish storage ideas.
+ Pretty sparkly polishes displayed on pastry trays… so chic!!
+ The yummy ice cream bath fizzies displayed like balls of actual ice cream. My flavor of choice? Pumpkin Pie… little bit a lot in love with the scents of Fall.

+ Thought this little bird in a cage was presh, it reminded me of the Twitter bird
