There was a stall from The Stitchery who offer sewing and dressmaking classes in the heart of Glasgow. I bought a sewing machine years ago and have barely used it so it was great to speak to Cassandra about her beginners classes. I love the sound of her make a dress in a weekend class. I think it'll be perfect for someone like me who struggles to find the time to commit to a 10 week long class. If you're in the Glasgow area and you're interested in sewing then definitely check out The Stitchery's Facebook page for details.

I loved the Bonnie Bling stall. If you've never heard of Bonnie Bling they are a jewellers make a range of Scottish slang word jewelry from acrylic plastic. It's super fun statement jewelry that never fails to bring a smile to my face. I love their tartan "Och" necklace and their knuckledusters made in collaboration with Obscure Couture are Scottish cult classics. One day I am determined to get a "Juicy Satsuma" set!Bonnie Bling stall at the Hidden lane Festival

The guys from the Piece sandwich shop in Glasgow's West End put on a hog roast for the day. The resulting hot pig rolls were...the...best.

The most important guys of all! The pint pullers at the Hidden Lane Festival.
The guys from Playdead who specialise in motion graphics, animation and visual effects set up chalk boards encouraging people to write down what they want to happen before the die...some people have some serious demons!

After the festival Mr Juicy and I headed over to Mother India's Cafe for some Indian tapas. Yeah that's right, Indian tapas! Mother India's cafe is a very well known, award winner restaurant in Glasgow and it is the best Indian in Scotland by a long shot. It's not up for discussion. It's an irrefutable FACT!I highly recommend the Spicy Keema Dosa!
