Over the last year we’ve really been making the most of shopping on line, for the most part finding it so much more convenient that trudging round a supermarket, so when local company to us, Mr Mango Delivery got in touch telling me all about their service I was interested to try them out.
Mr Mango is an online Asian Grocery Supermarket set up to both fill the gap in the market for Asian goods from the main online supermarkets, but also to fulfill all your household needs.
They have a huge range of products, with both fresh and dry goods. Particularly of note all their meant is HMC Approved Halal meat, and all the goods are picked and packed on the day of delivery, ensuring the freshest quality. There’s a low minimum order value of £30, and free delivery over £40, with next day delivery from 10am-10pm available, in temperature controlled vans.
So how did we get on with our order? Registering online is quick and simple. From there the website is clear and simply laid out so you can browse to your hearts content and easily navigate around and search for the goods you want.
As well as fresh meat, they have a wide range of fruit and vegetables including many herbs and okra, frozen products and a vast amount of dried and household goods. As well as many popular Asian brands you can pick up more well known brands such as Kellogs, Cadbury, John West and more.
I placed my order mid afternoon on Wednesday, and was able to get it delivered after work the next day. Time slots are 2 hours, and we chose the 6-8 pm slot. The delivery arrived well within the slot at 630pm without any hassle, and they found our house without any bother. (You’d think this was easy but both Ocado and Sainsburys have previously not been able to find it as we’re on a newish estate!)
I was happy to see a lovely refrigerated van for the delivery, all the bags explained and segregated into different types of food, along with a printed receipt and order and very friendly driver!
In short, it was hassle free from start to finish, and thus I’d not hesitate to order from them again. They always have special offers on too, so look out for those!
