Mooli Ka Raita is a tasty, healthy and easy Indian yogurt dish.
Mooli(Radish) raita is a mixture of spiced yogurt and grated radish, which is rich in minerals.

Mooli(Radish)Raita

Washed, peeled, grated and squeezed Radish.



Mooli(Radish)Raita

Beat the yogurt to get a smooth consistency.

Add all the ingredients Radish, salt, green chilli, red chilli, cumin powder and coriander leaves in beaten curd.

Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and whisk well.

Main Ingredients:white radish and yogurt

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup yogurt(Dahi)
  • 1 medium  cucumber (Kheera)
  • 1 tablespoon roasted cumin Powder
  • 1 green chilli chopped
  • 1-2 tablespoon coriander leaves, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon red chilli powder(optional)
  • Salt to taste

Preparation:

  • Wash, peel and grate the radish.
  • In another bowl beat the yogurt to get a smooth consistency. 

Method:

  1. Squeeze out all the water from the grated radish and  keep it aside in a bowl.
  2. Add grated radish, salt red chilli, green chilli, cumin powder and corinder leaves in beaten yogurt and mix well.
  3. Keep it aside for at least 30 min in the freezer.
  4. Garnish the  raita with the coriander leaves.
  5. serve cold.
    Serving ideas
    • Serve this raita with any type of meal.
