It is the ninth month of the year in the Julian and Gregorian Calendars and one of four months with a length of 30 days.
September in the Northern Hemisphere is the seasonal equivalent of March in the Southern Hemisphere. Autumn begins on the 1st Sept.
September's birthstone is the sapphire, and the birth flowers are the forget-me-not, morning glory and aster. The zodiac signs for the month of September are Virgo (until September 21) and Libra (from September 22 onwards). I celebrate my birthday in September.
My younger sister celebrated her 30th Birthday, and the same day my brothers and his wife celebrated their 2nd wedding anniversary. We went out for a meal together, minus the kids - which was nice - had a great laugh and it is always nice to get together with my sister, brothers and parents.
School - Jacob started reception, full time school. Lewis moved up to secondary school and Liam back to school per usual. Got Summer signed up and started in nursery, 3 mornings a week and she loves it.
My 36th Birthday - eekk I am now on the wrong side of 30 :-( the countdown to 40 commences, but is 40 so bad? no I don't think so (I am trying to convince myself of that), isn't the old phrase, life starts at 40, so what am I so worried about huh?
What did I do on my birthday, I went out to a lovely restaurant (Commodore on the broads) with my friends, one of which is my best friend of 34 years. Lovely view out to the broads, lovely food, great friends, and great wine..
My Auntie announced that she is adopting a little boy, 10 months old. He will be my first ever cousin (how cool is that, 36 and I finally get a cousin), and my Mum's first nephew. We are all are super excited, unfortunately we don't get to see my Auntie very often at all, as she lives up North, but hopefully we will soon and get to meet the little man.
Work - I started my training for my new position within the company I have worked for, for the past 6 years, as I move onto the international team, I am training to become a International Project Manager, to run global projects, where for the past few years I have worked in only a national team, I am both excited and nervous.
