Month in Review: June
Quick facts: June is one of the four months with a length of 30 days. It is also the month with the longest daylight hours of the year in the Northern Hemisphere and the shortest daylight hours of the year in the Southern Hemisphere.

The zodiac signs for the month of June are Gemini (until June 20) and Cancer (from June 21 onwards). The birth flower is rose and the birthstones are pearl, alexandrite and moonstone.
So what has been happening for us in June:

We went to the beach! first time we have been to a beach in the UK in years, which is a shame because we live in a coastal town with an award winning beautiful beach. Our trip to the beach made me realize what we have been missing out on - the trip down to the beach was not planned and it turned out great fun; we walked along the tide, the kids running in and out of the water, getting wet and covered in sand. And on the way home we gabbed an ice-cream, wet, covered in sand and happy.

We visited the Sea Life Centre, we return every-year and the we really enjoy it; seeing the penguins, feeding the fish, touching a starfish - packed full of fun.
For me I headed up to Edinburgh on a business trip for a few days - I flew up which was the first time I have flown all by myself - I was bricking it, but then it wasn't to bad (though I nearly missed the plane on my way home - I legged it to the gate).  Edinburgh is beautiful and I would definitely love to go there again, for pleasure though.
Fathers day was a really quiet day, we stayed in for dinner and relaxed, or rather we were just mega lazy, all day!
Paul's cousins birthday and his annual fancy dress party with the family, a fantastic crazy night. It was 80s theme this year and Paul dressed up as Bananaman and I was a 80s punk anarchist. First time we have been out since Christmas, and unfortunately I suffered all day the following day, I think I was even slightly still drunk in the morning.
Jacob started swimming lessons, 1st lesson didn't go to plan, 25 minutes to get him in the pool, but once he got in, even though it was only for 5 minutes he enjoyed it, the following week only took 5 minutes to get him the pool and no problems since.
