This Monday, Karen taught me an important lesson with regards to rolling with the punches. As you can see in this picture, Karen the Cat treated my second round of macarons like fun toys. That’s because they sucked. They were hard, masses of nasty, and she thought they were super DUPER fun. This made me cry. Literally. Literally I cried, but after she got bored of her new toys, she looked up at me, meowed and purred. She was telling me to get over it, and try again. Rolling with the punches is something that I don’t do well, but just seeing her have so much fun helped me move on, wipe my tears, take a break, and try again.
