Monday Motivation: Your Weekly Career Links

Posted on the 07 January 2013 by Classycareergirl @classycareer

Starting this week, I am officially a Professor! Since I am starting a new job (but of course still keeping my old ones too), it has been a super busy start to the new year! Luckily for me, I thrive when I am busy.  I am looking forward to meeting the students on Thursday and starting to teach them about career development. Our first tasks are self-assessments and draft resumes!

If you want to conquer fear, don’t sit home and think about it. Go out and get busy.” – Dale Carnegie

Last week in my webinar I talked about how I got over my fears and interviewed women on video.  Why? Because I got busy and started sending emails and people said yes! This week I am conquering my fears of being a college professor and going out and getting busy! How can you conquer your fear and get busy doing something this week instead of just thinking about it?
