I don't need a day to celebrate Mother's Day - time spent with my mum, respecting her, honoring her, pampering her, caring for her and giving puchis to her and taking some too making every moment special to her makes every moment, everyday special.

Mom God sent you to me as a special gift from above, to teach me life's lessons and shower me with your love that can never be paid back. The bond that a child develops with his mother can never be severed. You grew as an organism inside her for nine months. She carried you and sustained you, sharing her sustenance with you through your umbilical cord. When you are born the cord is severed. It is never severed in her heart. That bond lasts forever. As we grow up we become our own people and may come to forget that woman who nurtured and loved us. But remember this, she will never forget you and never stop loving you.

Mother's Day is a special one to express your love to your dear mom - and I was wondering what to gift her and searched almost everywhere from shoes to bags to apparels but finally concluded on something from my own - a pedicure session (which I gave to her in home) and a tasty treat of golgappas (made by her lovely daughters). She was in tears and so were we (I and my Di).
