My cousin’s, brother and I called this our Pocahontas Village when we were kids. We each made our own shelter and then pretty much abandoned them. Most are still standing though.
Trillium erectum, also known as wake-robin, red trillium, purple trillium, Beth root, or stinking Benjamin. Not sure what that last one is about.
Our haul of wild leeks (don’t worry, we got them with permission from our uncle’s property). I plan on making potato leek soup, leek pesto, pickled leeks and whatever else I can think of!
