By Ireviewuread

Modelsprefer a brand which is commonly seen in Australia's popular drugstore, Priceline. In this review, we're going to touch on Modelsprefer nude lips set.

The lip set contains 3 items:

  • Glossy Lipstick
  • Lipgloss
  • Moisture Lust Glossy Lip Tint

We're going to start with the lip tint and lip stick. They both have a strong cocoa butter smell which lingers for awhile. One thing I like about them is that they glides on easily making it really simple for application.

The shade for all the 3 lip product is 0714, UK dream. Basically speaking, it's a brownish nude look.

I felt that the lipstick and lip tint looked basically the same despite knowing the fact that lipstick is supposed to be more pigmented than the lip tint. Besides that, I felt that they are both rather moisturizing due to the cocoa butter.

Unfortunately due tom my sensitive lips, I was unable to try these lippies for long before I develop a sensitive reaction: tingling of the lips, redness and finally swelling up like a sausage. And I have to say for the lipstick, it took my lips awfully fast to react - I still have no idea which ingredient in the lipstick I am sensitive to though thus I seldom wear lip colours.

Next, we have the Modelsprefer runway shine lip gloss. Like the lip tint and lip stick, it is of the same shade and of the same cocoa butter scent.

As expected from a lip gloss, it is rather sticky. It's colour was also not as pigmented when applied to the lips. However due to it's stickiness, it was rather difficult to remove.

All in all I would give it 2 and a half IreviewUread smiles. The product is not as pigmented but just enough for the colour to be seen. It is also moisturizing and shiny. On top of that, I felt that the brown is too much for my yellowish asian skin.

It's such a shame I could not test out it's lifespan out in the open due to my sensitive lips. Another thing I like to point out would be these 3 lippies were sold in a set. It would be great if there were more colours or of a different scent in the set.
