Mixed Messages - The Printed Pencil Skirt

Whoever thought wearing Pencil Skirts would be fun, right? Pencil skirts always ring a bell when I think of a work wear staple. To think of wearing a pencil skirt for a night out seemed like a distant dream. If you are on the same boat as me, there's hope! Pencil skirts have been all over the runways past one year and in various new avatars for you to choose from. 

In today's outfit, I am wearing a floral pencil skirt with an animal print top. This look can work for both day and night. For day, you will just have to go easy on the accessories while for a night out, accessorize your heart away. I went with a statement bib necklace, beaded bracelet, flap shoulder bag and ankle strap heels. 



While this skirt has been great to wear in summer, I will be styling it in the coming months as well. You can also add a printed pencil skirt to your Fall/Winter closet for endless mix and match possibilities. Wear it with Tights and Ankle booties on a not so cold day or Pair it up with a Turtleneck and Knee high boots when its freezing outside.
