Mix and Mask

I spent a lovely Saturday morning with the peeps from Origins and fellow beauty bloggers.
After using their moisturizer and really love it, I started falling in love with this brand.
The brand’s logo comprises of two trees which symbolizes natural.

The bloggers all seated and bowl of water is prepared for us to indulge in a masking session.

Okay, obviously no bloggers want to remove their makeup on the spot, so they had a guy to do the demo for us. lolol.

The first step is definitely cleansing and scrubbing away all the dead skin cells before masking.

Rice is the main ingredient for this scrub. The texture feels gluely and starchy and it was gentle on the skin.

Choose any of the masks to suit your need.
If you have more than one concern on your skin, you can do multi-masking where different mask is applied on the different areas of your skin.

One of the popular choice, the Origins Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask gets to the bottom of skins overcast condition and clears the way for it to act its best. Activated Charcoal acts like a magnet to draw out deep-dwelling pore-cloggers, White China Clay absorbs environmental toxins, Lecithin dissolves impurities.

My favorite out of the whole lot would be this Origins Out of Trouble Mask. This mask keeps skin out of trouble. Nature’s trouble-shooters, including super-absorbent Zinc Oxide and Sulfur, calming Camphor rapidly responds to problem skin’s plight with a three-part plan – sop up oily-shine, slough off sticky, dead cells, and sweep away irksome debris. Together they steer skin clear of slippery situations, refine rough texture and pull the plug on troublemakers to oust potential outbursts.

Last but not least, is Origins Drink Up Mask suitable for thirsty skin. Thirst-quenching Algae Extracts deliver an extra helping of hydration while emollient-rich Apricot Kernel Oil acts like a “fountain of youth”. Feel skin drink in the softness, lap up the luxury.

We were also introduced to their Origins No Puffery Roll-on Eye Mask for puffy eyes. This incredibly cooling roll on treatment with Yeast Extract instantly helps de-puffs your eye area as it brightens the look of dark circles. All while Hoelen Mushroom Extract helps calm skin to help keep the look of visible redness from settling in.

I’ve been using this mask pretty often since it is really easy to use (just roll in on and pat them in). I really love how smooth this roll on mask glides on the skin. And it feels pretty refreshing as well!
