Recently, Microsoft announced that it is going to stop manufacturing Android smartphones, which means that the company will probably mostly focus on its Windows Phone platform in the future. Given the fact that Windows Phone devices can be a bit confusing at times and tricky to use, Microsoft’s released an online training portal that should help its users get a hang of the said OS.

Microsoft Launches a WP Online Training Portal

This training portal consists of a number of interactive tutorials and videos that guide a user through the Windows Phone experience. You can learn how to arrange the tiles to your liking, check for  updates, discover new songs, protect your info, customize your phone’s colour, sync contacts from an iPhone/Android phone etc. You get to choose what you want to learn to do from a drop-down menu on Microsoft’s website.

Microsoft also launched a Cortana training video not too long ago, in which it teaches its users how to use the new voice assistant.. The video takes you through the basics of Cortana and what you can do with it, and it comes with everything you’d expect out of a virtual assistant and some other features Microsoft’s added, such as predictions.

The portal and the video both seem like a good idea that should definitely help current and future WP users get acquainted with Microsoft’s platform without having to actually try out a WP device. For more info about this, head over to Microsoft’s official website.
