Today I am reviewing a new launch from the Maybelline Colossal range ~ Turquoise Kohl. The bright blue kohl is the current addition to the Colossal range, that comprises of Colossal Kajal and Colossal Mascara.

My experience with the productI have always been a colossal loyalist because I liked their 12 hour formula Colossal Kajal and Mascara too. These have been my must-haves since almost a year. I was really happy when I tried out the new colored kohl, because it didn't irritate my waterline.Comes packed in the similar slender twist-up form with yellow packaging, and glossy turquoise embossment, which makes it easy to locate if you have many eye pencils/kohl in your stash. The texture is smooth and creamy and glides smoothly on the eyes. Its bright blue and gives good color in a single stroke. A second swipe is obviously required to get the brighter color on your eyes. The gorgeous shade of Turquoise will definitely compliment every skin-tone. It has subtle shimmers that are only visible under direct sunlight. Despite being creamy, it does not tug or break easily. It is long wearing for sure, I can see first sign of wearing from the outer corners of the waterline after about 6 hours and the remaining color stays intact for more 2-3 hours. Its definitely smudgeproof and waterproof. Overall, its a great product and very well priced. It gives stiff competition to the Lakme Eyeconic Colored Kajals. If you're looking for a good Kohl, that can be used both as a eyeliner and a kajal, do give this a try!
