As I have said in posts before this one, Maybelline has been with me and a brand I have used since being a little high school girl, trying to fit in with all the makeup crazes and setting a few myself. Ok, no to round down the products I am loving this month which is a lot harder then one might think it is as I am loving so many different products. I have been able to narrow it down to 4 products and all of them being NEWISH. 1.) NEW Maybelline NY SuperStay better Skin Concealer RRP:$14.95
Thought that I might start from the base of my face and work my way up. Now I have used many different concealers, some with luck and others were just complete fails and my foundation could do a better job at concealing. The SuperStay better Skin Concealer though is totally in a league of its own, and stay exactly where I put it hiding these panda eyes quite well.
The shade I am using here is 02 light as I like to brighten up my problem areas a little and always tend to go a shade lighter.Your not even breaking $15, which is cheaper then a crappy meal from a takeaway store (or my gym). 2.) NEW Maybeline NY SuperStay Better Skin Foundation RRP:$21.95
I am a little funny as some of you may be aware with what foundations I put on my face as I am prone to reactions and cannot stand a foundation that makes me look like a grease pot. But I don’t think I have ever come across a foundation from Maybelline in which I had second thoughts on.So I slapped this baby right on and gave it a whiz, and of course it did not disappoint me or else I wouldn’t have put it in my tops for the month.
Shade: 005 Light Beige- this shade is ok for the Winter as my skin has lightened up but when it comes to Summer I will have to accompany this bad boy with a bronzer, no biggy.When using the SuperStay Skin Foundation and the concealer together I am left with flawless skin that almost reminds me of my high school years- love! 3.) NEW Maybelline NY Matte Maker Powder RRP:$11.95
As I said above I am not one of these ladies that enjoy anything other then a matte finish to my face. So that is why I have picked this product to be in my tops, as it tones down any foundation and can even be used by itself as a light coverage with great matte features. If you suffer from oily skin, I would highly recommend this to finish off your look and set that foundation for the day/night.
Shade: 50 Sun Beige- which is just right for all year round. I can use a little in the Winter and a couple of layers for Summer as the more you use the darker it becomes. Lastly but of course not least is 4.) NEW Maybelline NY Color Elixir Lip Color RRP:$17.95
Ok so these little guys look like they would be a lipstick but trick you when you turn out a lip gloss applicator that has a funny bent end.
At first it took a little bit to get used to the funny bent applicator as it didn’t feel right, but then became a breeze.This lip colours is glossy but also stays put, I think I have timed this as the longest 2 hours and that included a meal to boot!The two shades I am loving this month are:
095-Blush essence (RIGHT)025- Mauve Mystique (LEFT)Cant wait to add some more color to my look in Summer with these bad boys!
