So I actually have the waterproof version, and this is just because I wear it to school and I want something that will last my walk to and from and the school day. The brush itself is short bristles. I usually prefer long thick bristles but I really think this works well with lengthening. I wouldn't really say this mascara gives you much volume really. So if that is what you are looking for don't get this. But it darkens the lashes nicely, giving good definition and lengthens amazingly!It lasts well, it doesn't run at all but this could be down to it being waterproof.
