Maybelline launched these amazing hot bold shades last year in 5 shades calling it Colorsensational Bold Matte. The shades ranges from neon orange to neon pink and bright coral. I picked up MAT4 I love bright red!
Packagingvery similar to Colorsensational Lipsticks in design. The cap is indeed matte red compared to the shiny and shade matching glossy cap of colorsensational lipsticks. The shade name is mentioned at the bottom of the tube.Texture/PigmentationSmooth yet creamy texture without urge of melting. Both the shades have medium pigmentation and you'll need 2 swipes on pigmented lips for an opaque coverage. As all the shades are very bright, it might tend to stain your lips. It do settle on fine lines and makes your lips more chapped and dry as it is matte lipsticks. You need to perfectly exfoliate and moisturise your lips beforehand. When the shade is freshly applied it tends to look glossy but after few minutes, it settle to matte finish. The stain is hard to remove and you need to use a good makeup remover to take it off.
MAT4 is a bright orange shade with red undertone that falls on the warmer side. When applied in layers, it lasted for about 6 hours whereas when applied directly from tube, it lasted for only 3 hours.Highly recommended for fair to medium skin tone.
