My experience with the product

The new Maybelline Electro Pop Lip Balms came out with the similar packaging to what you get in USA - sleek black twist-up packaging with transparent cap and brand insignia in big bright neon colors. I packaging is very attractive and cute. The only con being - the lip balm does not completely get inside the tube so you need to be a bit careful while closing or you might end up scratching it.Out of the 4 shades launched, I received -

Berry Bomb - a tinted lip balm that gives a sheer pink flush to the lips. These are definitely not as pigmented as the old version of baby lips because it adds just a tint of color and might not show up on pigmented lips.
Pink Shock - the most pigmented lip balm from the range! It gives a gorgeous fuchsia stain on the lips that would show up well even on pigmented lips.
Oh! Orange! - is a sheer light orange lip balm that might not show well on pigmented lips.

The Maybelline Electro Pop Lip Balms are very hydrating and feels smoother and light on lips. The texture is very creamy and soft and you would need to reapply after every small meals. Despite being fairly sheer, it doesn't disappear from lips too soon. I get a nice 2-2.5 hours from it which is good for a tinted balm in my opinion! It does not feel uncomfortable although the consistency is very heavier. It does moisturizes my dry lips in this harsh winters and a must have too! All the shades have a very mild fruity fragrance that is not over-powering. Overall, a nice lip balm and definitely addictive for those who always like a bit of color and moisture on their lips! The brighter, vibrant packaging would end up being a stunner in your vanity and I definitely recommend Pink Shock for pigmented lips!
