Hey there,
Ok! So I’ve been a bit slack with my blog posts recently, as well as my Manicure Monday posts, so I apologise, (This weeks one is only 2 days late…pops). In my defence my laptop has failed on me again, for about the tenth time this year, I think it may be time to say goodbye, (To be honest I would have let it go a long time ago if my bank balance agreed with the decision).
And although I can quite easily upload a post from my iPad, (As I am doing now), the perfectionist side in me, stops me from doing so. The ability to be more creative with the design, layout and pictures of a blog post is a lot more limited on the iPad, (But it will have to do for now).
Let’s just start by talking about how gorgeous the weather is at the moment, I am so happy the sun has decided to make an appearance, and although I’m yet to bare my legs, (This could happen this summer), I am getting excited for the summer months to come, both for the sunshine, outdoor events and of course the summer fashion. I’m actually of on holiday next Wednesday with the boyfriend, (It’s our first holiday away together…ever), so we are pretty excited. This time next week I will be lounging on a sun bed, with cocktails in either hand, loving life, (It will be glorious). If only we could do that everyday it was sunny in England… Wouldn’t it be great if work was called off on ‘hot’ days so we could just drink and sunbathe? (Are you with me?).
With the sun shining I automatically go a bit color crazy. Winter you will find me in black, white, black, and more black with the occasional gray. Come spring/summer I like to pull in some more wonderful and bright eyed outfit choices. Maybe it’s the tan lines that come with the sunshine, they just make it that much more easier to wear a neon print, or floral ensemble.
This week I have been jazzing up my look with some beautiful powder blue matte nails. Yes, I have been all about pastels this spring, and my magical matte top coat by OPI, has transformed my sky blue miss sporty nails in to something else. I don’t think I will be wearing the polish without it from now on, what do you reckon?
I’m off now to put some lash extension on a friend, if only I could do them on myself.
