Love Lilac – Maybelline Color Show £2.99

Oh it’s that time of the week again, and the countdown to the weekend begins. At least I have this new gorgeous nail polish to get me through the week. How amazing, is this Lilac color by Maybelline? Last week I read Sabrina’s, (From Alittleobsessed), manicure Monday post on L’Oreals Color Riche Spring collection, and fell in love with the Lilac shade. After seeing her post, I was immediately on the hunt for Lilac nails. Although I didn’t quite get my hands on the L’Oreal version, I managed to stumble across this beauty on my food shop, (As I can not buy my weekly shop with out a trip to the make up isle).
The polish has a very faint shimmer to it, which you can see more of in the first application. I love the color that much, that I don’t even care that it has chipped on day two. Even my boyfriend noticed the new nails, and commented saying it was his favorite color on me yet. I am very into my pastel colours at the moment, and after spending all my teenage years in a Lilac bedroom, (Which I hated), who would have thought I would have rekindled my love for Lilac, through the wonder of nail varnish, (And of course spring).
