Manicure Monday #3

By Beautybykaris @beautybykaris

Hey There,

Happy Monday to you all!

I have been seeing these ‘confetti’ effect nail polishes everywhere, and thought they looked very cute. The other week I was doing my food shopping, and as per usual, I started my shopping in the make up isles. And of course the 3 for 2 on Barry M got me. So I went for the confetti effect in Marshmellow, along with a textured effect in gold and crystal glaze, (Reviews to follow on beautybykaris).

I immediately picked up my Nude polish from Collection 2000, to test it out. I was tempted to go for black, but I thought the baby pink and white color scheme would compliment a nude background.

I will be totally honest with you, I am still in two minds whether I like this look or not… When I posted it on Instagram I got quite a positive response, but for some reason I just don’t LOVE it…It just doesn’t look as ‘cute’ as I had pictured it.

I built the confetti up over two applications for this particular look. It is easy to apply, (Unlike other nail effect polishes), this one paints on evenly, with no necessary need to position the glitter.

Although I am not completely convinced, at £3.99 a bottle, you can’t go wrong! I am keen to experiment with more colours…Maybe next time I will try it against a black polish, what do you think?

WHAT DO YOU THINK OF MY NAILS?

HAVE YOU TRIED BARRY M’s CONFETTI RANGE?

Lots of Love,

KB xx
