Barry M – Crystal Glaze Top Coat

It feels like it has been a little while since I have done a Manicure Monday post, (Think it is just about time for a trip to the nail bar, for a little beauty haul). Today I thought I would talk about Crystal Glaze top coat by Barry M. This little sparkly number has been sat in my nail collection for quite a while, and just hasn’t been shown any love.
I am all about the sparkles, so when I first saw the Crystal Glaze polish (£3.99), I was keen to get my hands on it, and give it a try. To be honest, my first impressions were not great, I kind of thought it looked a bit ‘cheap’. Being sat in my nail box, gathering dust, I rediscovered it the other week, as I went to paint my nails with my Rimmel Salon Pro Reggae Splash. The Crystal Glaze has a slight pink/peachy tone to it, so I thought I would try it out with my favorite orange nail colour…
Much to my surprise, I now really like the effect of the ‘crystals’, I obviously was trying it on the wrong colours. I have seen a picture online where it looks great against black, definitely going to try that look out when I want to get glammed up. It gives the nails a gorgeous glossy look, while the ‘crystals’ glisten under the light.
