Hey there,
So we all know I keep banging on about this holiday I am going on, but come on it’s been two years since I’ve been abroad in the sun, (with cocktails and a beach), it’s alright to brag a little, right?
I’ve spent the last two evenings pampering and prepping myself for holidays, de-fluffing myself, and making sure I’m ready to bare all in a bikini. Tonight I have done some Gellux nails on myself, (Inbetween getting distracted reading beauty blogs, and of course spending money on new lipsticks). I had to go for the mint green, I have been dying to use this color on myself since I first set eyes on it, (Don’t ask me why it has taken me so long to do so), I only have myself to blame. I am absolutely in love with all the pastel shades this year, and although I would normally go for a bright coral or pink for my hols, I could not resist this pastel green. Of course I had to add a bit of sparkle to it, I am slightly obsessed with having one nail different, and a bit of glitter makes all the difference.
My nails were a little sensitive tonight during the curing of the gels, I’m not sure if it hormones related, or whether my nails are just a bit weak at the moment, but it kind of hurt. It felt a bit like a tingling heat sensation, *Sad Face*, has anyone else experienced this before? I’m usually fine with gels.
It was worth the slight discomfort for these beauties though, what do you reckon? The color is just amazing, and I can’t wait to show them off in Rhodes with my tan.
As I am away from Wednesday, my blog, and social media will be pretty quiet. I haven’t scheduled any guest posts or posts of my own, (Let’s just say this last minute holiday has thrown me all over the place, I’m not organised one bit). We have also decided we are going to have a no phone policy, so no connection with the blogger world at all I’m afraid, (That’s if it lasts, I’m sure if he gets out clash of the clangs or whatever it’s called, I’m getting my tweet on). Anywhoo if you don’t hear much from me, don’t worry, I’m just sunbathing by a pool in Greece.
