Ever since I was about 12, and I know that is super young, but I have always been a major coffee addict. Horrible, I know.
So, about 3 months ago, I started “juicing”, and I am seriously trying to stay on a steady diet of “clean eating”. The juicing part has surprisingly worked out really well, but not so much the “clean eating” part.
Anyways, about a month ago I purchased a little smoothie blender, that is basically similar to “The Magic Bullet”. I have a juicer, but it’s such a hassle to put everything together in the morning, when I don’t have the time, and I have to rush out the door.
With that being said, just the other morning I made an OJ { orange juice }, and mango breakfast smoothie, and I figured that I would share it with you guys because it was super delicious and yummy, so who wouldn’t want to share that anyways.
Ingredients:
- A frozen bag of real fruit mango chunks. { Whole foods has great fruit selections }
- 1 Bottle of Odwalla 100% real orange juice
Directions:
- Depending on if you are making this in a regular blender, or something such as a magic bullet, you want to include at least 1 cup of frozen mango chunks. I wouldn’t recommend adding more then 1 cup because then you won’t have the smoothie quality blend.
- After you put in your 1 cup of frozen mango chunks, add in 1/2 cup of Odwalla orange juice.
- Once all of your ingredients are in, twist the lid, and blend for about 5-6 seconds.There you have it, your OJ + Mango breakfast smoothie!
