Make Up Store is running a couple of Valentine’s Day promotions in-store right now.
The nail polish kit was the one I went straight for – retailing at S$22 per bottle, the promotional price of S$45 for 3 is a really good deal. With the number of colours Make Up Store carries, it is really not hard to find 3 to purchase. Quality-wise, the nail lacquers are of great quality which I’ve mentioned here on the blog before. Here are the 3 I picked this time round.
I’ve had my eye on Asun for a little while – it is a clear pink tinted base with pink-toned holographic discs throughout – I thought I outgrew the glitter nail but Asun made me change my mind. Rebecca is a deep eggplant with ribbons of metallic silver-purple foil running through it – perfect for a pedi. And Victoria – a beautiful gold-toned taupe-nude – this color is hard to describe. It is a little sheer and the gold gives it a very ethereal feel. I don’t have swatches for you at the moment (I have gelish on now) – I’ll post them soon.
Here is a shot of Asun with 2 other glitters in the range – I forgot to take the names down but they’re really blingtastic. You might want to check them out – I swatched them and they lay down the perfect amount of glitter in each layer – not too much, not too sparse.
There is also a GWP – with S$150 spent in a single receipt, you can receive a foldable teddy-bag – rather cute
While you’re in-store, you can check out the newly-arrived Valentine’s Day collection, Fusion. The marble eyeshadows are really pretty – I’d pick the blue-toned Blue Venato in a heartbeat.

I’m not terribly sure how long these promotions will be on for; I’m guessing either till Valentine’s Day itself or the Valentine’s weekend. The Fusion Collection recently arrived in-store so head down for a swatch or two and you might end up carting some home.
