MAC Prolong Wear Nourishing Waterproof Foundation NC 35 Reivew, Photos
Today I am reviewing the new waterproof foundation by MAC called MAC prolong wear nourishing waterproof foundation NC35.Like any MAC foundation these are also marked as NC and NW and this waterproof foundation comes in 16 shades. I am usually the shade NC40-42 in MAC, but for this foundation I got myself a NC35 , since I found NC42 to be a shade darker for me, but I dont suppose that will be the case in summer months, for now its good since I dont have any tan and its winter here in Mauritius.

MAC prolong wear nourishing waterproof foundation comes in a black tube packaging unlike the other prolong wear foundation which comes in a glass bottle. You have to squeeze the product out. Now I have so many things to say about this waterproof foundation but lets begin with what MAC has to say about this.

This MAC waterproof foundation has some tall claims and lives upto to them all. I havent worn it for 24 hours but I have worn it for around 10 hours and I am impressed.

First things first, when you apply this foundation you need to start with very little amount, because you need a tiny amount to cover your face, but since its weightless on your face you might feel the need to apply a second layer. You can easily layer the foundation but I would suggest to apply a thin layer first and then for the second layer concentrate where you need additional coverage. The foundation is oil free and I thought for my dry skin it wouldnt do much and would be more preferable for oily skin, but boy was I wrong.
MAC Prolong Wear Nourishing Waterproof foundation has a lovely satin finish and the best part is its just the perfect amount of dewiness. Not overly dewy not flat matte. I was in love when I saw the finish. And another bonus with this foundation is that its transfer proof as well, so if you have dry skin and you want to maintain that healthy satin glow you can totally skip the powder with this foundation, atleast in winter months where its not very sweaty.

This waterproof foundation is the perfect base. Although the waterproof foundation did not serve the purpose of a concealer for me, if you have little to no dark circles this may act as a concealer for you. I have deep dark circles which need color correcting. Also this foundation did not oxidize on me, which is also one of its claim. So that is also another plus point.

This MAC foundation is a winner on all accounts . Its a perfect foundation for all skin types and goes from medium coverage to full coverage in one drop. I take one drop of this foundation , pea sized amount, and dot it all over my face and then with a beauty sponge or foundation brush I just buff it into the skin. Its easy to apply and blends almost immediately.

I have nothing negative to say about this foundation except that after NC35 they directly have NC42 shade and for me I found NC 42 to be a tad bit darker. I would buy this Mac foundation again, it gives a very healthy glow to my skin and is long wearing and the foundation doesnt transfer. Its a winner on all fronts. Go get MAC Prolong wear foundation if you are looking for a satin finish foundation that will stay put all day and keep your oil away and if you have dry skin it will keep your skin looking healthy and hydrated. I love the MAC Prolong wear nourishing waterproof foundation.
