Recently a new Mac lipie was added to my growing collection, 'Please Me'.'Please Me' is a rosey tinted pink, with yellow undertones & a matte finish.As matte finishes go this is a very comfortable wearable formula, that causes my lips absolutely no dryness & even feels ever so slightly creamy. Of course it has the infamous yummy Mac vanilla scent that we all love so much.'Please Me' is such a universal pink shade, that it would suit all skin tones. On my skin tone (Mac NC25 for reference) it does pull more of a deep rosey tone, where on deeper skin tones it would look a more muted rosey pink.
I've found pros & cons with 'Please Me' being a matte formula. Cons are, that although it is one of the most comfortable matte shades I have found, it does settle into fine lines which is pretty inevitable with this finish. The pro is that it has excellent staying power, it lasts me 5-6+ hours depending on if I'm drinking or eating, but it still leaves a subtle rosey stain on my lips.
So because of its great staying power, if I've got a long day ahead this is the lipie I often reach for. The shade is ideal for day to day wear & goes with almost anything.Available from maccosmetics.co.uk £15.00
