The Lush Holiday Collection is now available at Lush stores at a whopping 30% off. With seasonal favourites like Snow Fairy being still available, this is the best time to stock up. If you have yet to explore the brand in great detail, this is also a great time to venture into the store and pick up a holiday set or 2 – the Holiday sets have a mixture of some permanent and some seasonal products so it’s a fabulous way to dip your toes into the Lush pond.
The sweet-candy scented confection of Snow Fairy seems to be everyone’s favorite but it doesn’t quite do it for me. However, the 2 other seasonal shower gels that I got to try are a different story.
If you love rose scents, the Rose Jam is a definite must try – it is sadly seasonal so I’d really urge you to get to Lush quickly to try it. It is a very sweet, honeyed-rose, with hints of vanilla lurking in the background. Very heady and definitely one of the more quirky rose scents I’ve come across.
Ponche grew on me – I found it a little odd at first and it was a “where’s the orange?!” reaction but post-shower, you get the citrus note on the skin. It’s not one of those sunny, bright orange-bursts – the cinnamon is dominant and while I have no tequila within my reach to reference this with, there is definitely something cocktail-esque about the scent. It’s something different and not in a bad way.
My absolute favorite seasonal Lush product would have to be Snowcake – a milky-almond scented soap that leaves skin so soft and powdery scented that you just want to jump into bed and snooze. It’s that comforting. I have a hunk of it stashed away safely.
The Lush Post-Holiday Sale won’t be around for too long so if you want to stock up or want to try something, do get to one of the 2 stores at the soonest. Lush is located at Wisma Atria and at Suntec City (just right next to the exit to the Esplanade MRT Station).
