LUSH Laid Back Holidays | Smell And Tell

By Blessmybag @blessmybag

After all the Christmas commotion has passed I like to duly dub myself a LUSHie. Lush handmade cosmetics are a must when the cooler breezes begin to blow. They might inadvertently repel some of you with the blast of aroma by their boutique entrances but I myself am completely drawn in when their Christmas bath collections begin rolling in. Who can resist the aromatic and animated visual display of a bath bomb in your tub or the bubbly delight of their bath bars through running water in a sink or tub? If certain adults can't appreciate the bath bliss that LUSH provides I know kids and teens certainly can. Pardon the crushed/beheaded Dashing Santa bath bomb, that was an accident. It does however make for a pretty cut-away display, click here for a video of the Dashing Santa Bath Bomb. I am a bit sad I didn't get to grab a Golden Wonder or Northern Lights bath bomb, but I'm glad the LUSH ph team gave me these (with the exception of the Holly Golightly Bubble Bar which I bought). Now let me go into the smell descriptions.

The LUSH "Shoot for the Stars" bath bomb is one from last year, a lovely blue display in the tub with the same enchanting honey-toffee scent as their "Honey I Washed the Kids" soap...someone did a Shoot for the Stars video demo here at this link. The "Cinders" bath bomb nourishes with hydrating almond oil and delights with a spicy snap-crackle-pop effect plus a cinnamon aroma, no fireplace? Just drop one in. Holly Golightly was a sold-out new holiday favorite these past few weeks (I got the last one at LUSH BGC) obviously because of the name which is Audrey Hepburn's lead character from Breakfast at Tiffany's. It's dressed in silver vegan sparkle and gives off a spicy cinnamon and patchouli scent as you crumble it through running water. Dashing Santa is satsuma scented, laced with mandarin and bergamot. Sorry no prices yet, I will extract them if I can find them, Holly Golightly was about Php395 if I recall right. If my undying appreciation for LUSH has not convinced you with words watch their 2015 holiday video feature below. I just love 'em.
