While in Venice last week I did something I haven’t done in a long, long time. I bought something from LUSH. Now, as a teenager I rather liked LUSH products. I would always buy bath bombs and get other goodies for Christmas, but after a bad reaction to one of the glitter bath bombs I steered clear and haven’t bought anything until earlier this year when I picked up a lip scrub which I fell in love with (see post). But my love affair was short lived until til me and Mr wandered in to the Venice shop and met a lovely lady who introduced me to Karma…
We ended up buying the Bubble Bar (which is essentially a bath bomb that makes your water bubble) and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. Described as ‘like a trip to a festival in a VW Camper Van’ it smells deliciously of orange and Patchouli mixed in with some essential oils. You can crumble in as much of the bar as you want (no need to use the whole thing at once) and it will provide you with a multitude of bubbly bubbles. The water turns a hot shade of orange and it left my skin feeling moisturised and clean with no hint of a rash or itch in sight.
The main thing I love about this though is the smell. I usually find a lot of LUSH products too overpowering and strongly scented but this smells amazing without clogging up my nostrils causing me to sneeze violently. The kind lady also gave me a huge wedge of the matching Karma soap for free which I also love and every time I walk into the bathroom its warming, floral scent makes me smile.
Next time I go shopping I am definitely going to make a stop off at LUSH and pick up another one of these as I am so in love with it. I may also get the matching Kream (very Kardashians all this!), perfume and hell even the signature set! Too much??…
