Today I'll be reviewing a long due product which I bought last year and forgot. Last week, while cleaning my desk, I found this long lost love of mine lying deep inside my stash - the super affordable colored eyeliners from Lotus Herbals - Hypnotica range in shade Mint and Earth ShinePrice : Rs 295
My experience with the product
The Lotus Herbals Hypnotica liquid liners come in a slender circular bottle with a thin, fine brush inside which allows one to control the liner thickness. The brush handles are colored according to the shade so its easy to locate different colors. The liner has a slightly runny consistency but its not too sheer or watery. A single swipe gives maximum color intensity. The colors are lovely – bright but not bold to the point that they are unwearable. The liner dries quickly and can be easily washed off with water.
Mint is a bright olive green that would suit on almost every complexion, whereas, Earthy Shine is a bronze shade that would look up more on fair to medium complexions. Both the colors are great for Indian complexion.
Overall, If you would like to try out colored liners without spending too much, this range offers some great options. Do note that these are liquid liners so if you are an absolute beginner struggling with liquid liners, perhaps pencil liners would be easier to use. But if you are comfortable with brush type liquid liners, do give these a try!
